ADAPTIVE BEGINNER BALLET CLASS: Instructed by Dr. Rachel Saffo, this beginner ballet class is for older children/teens and adults with autism spectrum disorders. The class meets every other Saturday from 2:30-3:30 pm for the rate of $25/class. Upcoming dates are: October 11th and 25th, November 8th and 22nd, and December 6th. At this time, we are limiting the class to four students.

The class is appropriate for dancers who can follow directions to participate in a class with others. Please wear dance attire or in comfortable workout type clothing, with ballet slippers. If ballet slippers cause sensory issues, dancers can be barefoot.

Dr. Saffo received her doctorate in Communication Disorders from Florida State University in 2010 and works with our students at Bluebirds to help them meet their social-emotional needs.
