Dancers in first grade and up who are interested in continuing to intensify their dance education can continue to do so through our Youth Dance Program. Organized into Levels I through VII, our program affords dancers the opportunity to study multiple dance disciplines with an emphasis on the study of classical ballet. Level I, II, and III Dancers receive focused dance instruction in classical ballet technique, as well as continued acrobatics classes. Students are introduced to Tap in Level I, and to Jazz in Level II. Students in Level III increase the length of all classes, and are introduced to either hip hop, modern, or contemporary dance. Students in Levels II and III may also request membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company as Apprentice Members. As Company members, they will gain additional performance and training opportunities, including participation in our Winter Performance, Ballet de Nöel Acadie​, and special roles in our annual Spring Performance. 

LEVEL I DANCE (1st Grade and Up)

Class Options (Register for one of the following classes):

Tuesdays 4:30-6:00 pm

Saturdays 10:30 am to 12:00 pm     

Ballet, acrobatics, and introduction to tap dance for children age 6+/in first grade or above.

Classes are once a week 1.5 hours of instruction.
Tuition: 10 Payments of $125/2 Semester Payments of $625/1 Yearly Payment of $1,250

 Spring Performance Fee: $150    
Spring Performance Costume Fee: 

$200 (Dancers will have TWO dances in our Spring Performance)  

LEVEL II DANCE (2nd Grade and Up)

Classes Offered:

Mondays 4:30-5:30 pm (Tap and Jazz)

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 (Ballet) and 5:30-6:15 (Acrobatics)

Ballet, acrobatics, tap, jazz dance for children age 7+/in second grade or above. Classes are offered twice a week, or dancers may take any of the classes offered (i.e., ballet and acro/once-a-week classes). Full level is 2.75 hours of instruction per week.
Tuition: 10 Payments of $150/2 Semester Payments of $750/1 Yearly Payment of $1,500 
Spring Performance Fee: $150   
Spring Performance Costume Fees: 

$100 per costume, maximum of four costumes (ballet, tap, acro, jazz/modern)

Apprentice Company Member Request for Level II: 

Level II Students may apply for Apprentice Membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company. Apprentice Company meets every other week on Fridays from 4:30-5:30 pm, with additional full-company rehearsals on Saturdays in November and December and March, April and May.

Placement Audition and Informational Meeting:​ Saturday, August 15th, 2026
Apprentice Company Dues:

10 Payments of $25/2 Semester Payments of $125/1 Yearly Payment of $250.
WINTER PERFORMANCE FEE: $100
WINTER PERFORMANCE COSTUME RENTAL FEE: $25 per costume
NO ADDITIONAL SPRING PERFORMANCE FEES 

 LEVEL III DANCE (3rd Grade and Up)

Classes Offered:

Tuesdays 4:45-6:00 pm (Ballet), 6:00-6:45 pm (Hip Hop and Jazz), and 6:45-7:15 (Tap)

Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm (Acrobatics) 

Ballet, acrobatics, tap, hip hop and jazz dance for children age 8+/in third grade or above. Classes are offered twice a week, or dancers may take any of the classes offered for a per class price. Full level is 3.5 hours of instruction per week. 
Tuition: 10 Payments of $175/2 Semester Payments of $875/1 Yearly Payment of $1,750  
Spring Performance Fee: $150
Spring Performance Costume Fees: 

$100 per costume, maximum of four costumes (ballet, tap, acro, jazz)
