Beginning in Level IV, dancers further intensify their study of ballet with the addition of pre-pointe classes and continue to study tap, jazz, hip hop and acrobatics. Level V students study modern dance as well. Dancers must have at least two years of pre-pointe work before they are considered for pointe shoes. Pointe work readiness is determined on a student-by-student basis. Level IV and V Students may also request membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company as Apprentice or Junior Company Members for additional performance and training opportunities.

LEVEL IV DANCE (4th Grade and Up)

Classes Offered:
Tuesdays 4:45-6:00 pm (Ballet), 6:00-6:45 pm (Hip Hop and Jazz), and 6:45-7:15 (Tap)
Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm (Pre-Pointe) and 6:30-7:30 pm (Acrobatics) 
Ballet, acrobatics, tap, hip hop and jazz dance for children age 9+/in fourth grade or above.

Classes are offered twice a week, or dancers may take any of the classes offered for a per class price. 

Full level is 4.5 hours of instruction per week. 
Tuition: 10 Payments of $200/2 Semester Payments of $1,000/1 Yearly Payment of $2,000  
Spring Performance Fee: $150
Spring Performance Costume Fees: 
$100 per costume, maximum of four costumes (ballet, tap, acro, jazz)

Apprentice Company Member Request for Level IV: 

Level IV Students may apply for Apprentice Membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company.

Apprentice Company meets every other week on Fridays from 4:30-5:30 pm, with additional full-company rehearsals on Saturdays in November and December and March, April and May. 
Placement Audition and Informational Meeting:​ Saturday, August 15th, 2026 
Apprentice Company Dues:
10 Payments of $25/2 Semester Payments of $125/1 Yearly Payment of $250
WINTER PERFORMANCE FEE: $100
WINTER COSTUME RENTAL FEE: $25 per costume
NO ADDITIONAL SPRING PERFORMANCE FEES

LEVEL V DANCE (5th Grade and Up)    

Classes Offered: 

Mondays 5:30-6:15 pm (Modern) and 6:15-7:45 pm (Ballet)

Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm (Pre-Pointe) and 6:30-7:30 pm (Hip Hop and Jazz)

Fridays 4:30-5:45 pm (Acrobatics) and 5:45-6:45 pm (Tap)

Ballet, pre-pointe, tap, acrobatics, hip hop, jazz and modern for dancers who have completed

Level IV Dance and have not begun pointe work yet.

Classes are offered three days a week, or dancers may take any of the

classes offered for a per class price. 

Full level is 6 hours of instruction per week. 
Tuition: 10 payments of $225/2 Semester Payments of $1,125/1 yearly Payment of $2,250   

Spring Performance Fee: $150
Spring Performance Costume Fee: 

$125 per costume, maximum of five costumes (ballet, tap, jazz, acro, modern)

Junior Company Membership Request for Level V: 

​Level V Dancers may apply for Junior Membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company. Junior Company meets every week on Saturday mornings from 9-10:30 am plus additional weekend rehearsal times for our Winter and Spring performances. Dancers must be available for weekend rehearsals to be eligible for Junior Company. Company members may choose to participate in either or both Winter and Spring seasons.
