Dancers in fourth grade and up begin to further intensify their study of ballet with pre-pointe and beginning pointe classes and continue to study multiple dance disciplines as well. Students in Level IV and V Dance study ballet and tap one one day of the week, and have pre-pointe or beginning pointe along with jazz and contemporary dance another day. Acrobatics is offered on a separate day along with additional ballet class, for a total of three days a week of classes. Level IV and V Students may also request membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company as Junior Members. 

LEVELS IV & V DANCE

(4th-8th graders)

Junior Company

​Registration: $75 Per Family

Level IV Dance:

Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary/Modern, Tap and Acrobatics Class for children in 4th grade and up

(2-hour classes, twice a week, and one-hour class, once a week, for total of 5 hours instruction)
Tuition: 10 Payments of $175/2 Semester Payments of $875/1 Yearly Payment of $1750
Recital Fee: $150
Costume Fee: $400 (Dancers will have FOUR dances in our Spring Performance)
            Class Times: Monday 5:30-7:30 pm, Wednesday 5:30-7:30, Friday 4:30-5:30

Level V Dance:
Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary/Modern, Tap and Acrobatics Class for children in 6th grade and up

(2-hour classes, twice a week, and either 1.5 or 2.5-hour class, once a week, for total of 5.5 or 6.5-hours instruction)
Tuition: 10 Payments of $200/2 Semester Payments of $1000/Yearly Payment of $2000
Recital Fee: $150
Costume Fee: $400 (Dancers will have FOUR dances in our Spring Performance)
            Class Times:

Monday 5:30-7:30 pm, 

Wednesday 5:30-7:30 (for dancers in first year of pointe) or Tuesdays 6-8:15 (for dancers with one or more years of pointe),

Thursdays 6-7:30 for dancers in Level V NOT in Company and Acro (or for dancers wanting classes four times a week) OR Friday 4:30-6:30/6:45 for dancers in Acro AND in Company

Junior Company Membership Request: Dancers in Level IV and V are invited to apply for membership in Bluebirds Ballet Company as Junior Members. Junior Members will have additional dance classes in various genres of dance with Bluebirds Faculty and Guest Teachers on Fridays from 5:30-6:30 or 7 pm along with the Senior Company. Additionally, Junior Company Members will have additional performance opportunities in our Spring Performance, possible additional performance opportunities throughout the year, invitations to attend performances and workshops with the Bluebirds Ballet Company, and invitations to the Bluebirds Ballet Company’s annual Christmas Party and Springtime Party. Best of all, Junior Members will have the benefit of interacting with and being inspired by our Senior Company Members and experience the team-building and creative efforts that go into preparing for performances and events. Junior Members in Level V will be partnered with a Senior Company member for additional mentorship and to prepare them for a Senior Company leadership role in the future.

Audition Class, Parent Meeting, and Retreat: FRIDAY, AUGUST 25TH at 4:30
            Company Dues: 10 Payments of $40/2 Semester Payments of $200/1 Yearly Payment of $400. NO ADDITIONAL COSTUME OR RECITAL FEES ​
